Prophetic Expression

When we think of entering the promise we often think of giants… the current occupiers, and we remember the 12 spies that went into the Promise land. It’s usually said that ten of them reported that they saw giants and that they were as grasshoppers to them. The thing is that when the spies saw the giants they said “we seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.” The problem wasn’t the giants or what the giants thought, the problem was how the spies saw themselves. If we alter that statement from the spies perspective to say “we seemed like giants in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.” we know the outcome would have been drastically different. Those 10 spies were overly concerned with what the giants thought of them, and not focused on what God said of them.

Geoffrey Duncan, Prophet

It is our mission to release strategy along with the prophetic to properly equip the body of Christ...

When you go into a place in a covert manner as the spies did here, how you see yourself matters. In the natural realm, a spy must believe their cover story on a deep intimate level or risk exposure of themselves and their mission.

You must deeply, and intimately know who God says that you are. From there you must believe it.

How?

Stand in front of a mirror, look yourself in the eyes, and declare to yourself who you are. You must without hesitation be able to say to anyone what your identity is. This isn’t fake it till you make it, this is belief backed up by confidence.

You don’t get to fake who God says you are.

It is not only what you believe that matters, it’s also what you speak. Your words create worlds, so be careful what you release in your words.

Agreements with God are in and of themselves powerful. But, when you move to action, shockwaves go out in the spiritual realm great enough to cause fear and panic in the powers and principalities that want to war with you.

Your fights are guaranteed victory because it’s from the seat of victory that you start. Can you confidently look into your eyes and declare that?

There are two actions that come from this word. First, believe who God is saying you are. Second, declare it boldly with your words.

Giants, as they appeared in your sight before, now appear as they truly are, a defeated enemy.
