Strange Fire in Old Wineskins

Strange Fire in Old Wineskins

Leviticus 10:1-3, 10

We're standing before Holiness himself in our struggle to abandon old wineskins, offering up strange fire. What was is no more. We must know the difference between holy and the common.

In a vision, I saw the body at the altar making an offering in old, tattered apparel in the same measure they'd routinely done for years. Sloppy delivery, and operating on auto-pilot. I heard the Lord say with a bit of sorrow in his voice, "My fire has already been released. What will burn bright and beautiful in new wineskins will wound in the old." As the vision continued, I saw people on fire, tormented by the pain. I saw triage teams set up all over to attend to the burn victims, delicately removing debris and burnt flesh from the fresh, sensitive skin. The Lord said, "I've been clear about the required shift. I've been generous with time. The harvest is ready and my Church is not." He continued, "The unwillingness to shift will cause a double-focus in my remnant, I will divide their time between the harvest of the world and the home care of the Church for a time." The judgment of the Lord has been released, it's the burning fire of the Holy Spirit. Some will be propelled forward for the great and mighty work of the Lord, and others will find themselves wounded by their old wineskins.
