Re-Training Day

Updated: Dec 6, 2022

Prophetic Expression | Angie Day Peters

We are being re-trained!

In a vision, I saw a single-line of militant men and women in fatigues, training in a wooded area of rough terrain, and short-sighted vision. A place of great trust, knowing the Father's discipline as comfort. They have their weapons raised straight above their heads with both hands, experiencing the discomfort of its weighty demand.

The weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but are powerful through God for the demolition of strongholds. We demolish arguments and every proud thing that is raised up against the knowledge of God, and we take every thought captive to obey Christ. We stand ready to punish any trace of rebellion, as soon as you choose obedience. 2 Cor 10:4-6

This word speaks to the oneness that Jesus asked the Father for in John 17 -- "that they would be one, just as you and I, Father, are one." The Kingdom mandate in this day calls for a company, not a singular hero. The days of individualistic Christianity are over, those idols are being toppled! Re-training applies in our adjustment to learn how to function in the weapons of our warfare, within our spiritual giftedness and our metron with those walking closely beside us. We need revelation on how to regard and wield these things for the betterment of our formation within this Kingdom life.

I urge you, my brothers and sisters, for the sake of the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to agree to live in unity with one another and put to rest any division that attempts to tear you apart. Be restored as one united body living in perfect harmony. For a consistent choreography among yourselves, having a common perspective with shared values. 1 Cor 1:10

In Revelation 2, Christ's letter to the Church of Ephesus, he commends them for what they've stood for and even what they've stood against. He included what he has against this body: "you have abandoned the passionate love you had for me at the beginning. ...Repent and do the works of love you did at first." We need to understand what Christ is after, it's not singular love of the eye or the hand, he's after a bride wholly devoted to his name. Those who will stand in fullness together, pointing toward his Lordship; those returning to their first love as a company of lovers.

God is after mothers and fathers, those with an Apostolic agenda, who will be quick to empower sons and daughter's who confess the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Power at conception to rightly form identity! We have to be audacious and insert ourselves into the company of those expanding the Kingdom. Do NOT settle on the sidelines watching and mocking the procession, get in the midst of it all. You are the dispenser of the glory of the Lord that will cover the whole earth as the waters cover the seas. It's you, it's us!

Apostolic Mandate | Vincent Ream

There is no tactical advantage to holding a weapon in that manner, it is all about correction. This as a training scenario is why in Angie’s vision they would be running with their weapons raised above their heads, this is corrective training. Something that is done with the intent to correct a specific behavior through training that emphasizes the true nature of what should be happening. In this case, if someone loses or fails to maintain their weapon, corrective training of the nature described could be administered. A line of people indicates that the correction was needed across the formation to demonstrate the importance of safeguarding your weapon. The problem has become pervasive enough to require mass corrective training.

I have to emphasize this is not punishment because the intent is to correct through training that places a spotlight on the behavior that needs correcting. Without the use of corrective training, detrimental behavior will persist leading to a potential loss of life in combat.

God is retraining the company of His people. There has been far too much mixture of the natural with our supernatural weapons. The corrective training to run through the woods full of foliage that will resist the movement by grabbing and snagging as you run, all while holding the weapon straight overhead keeps it from getting dirty or lost. It allows you to feel the weight and become more connected with what your weapon feels like. All while underscoring the importance of being able to spill out life with your weapon rather than destroying it by allowing it to be lost or become dirty from mixture.

We have allowed the weapons issued by God to become a mess, and God has said that’s enough! No longer will I allow you to carry filthy weapons, and no longer will I tolerate lost weapons. Keep your weapons maintained and accounted for through your undivided attention on Jesus. Do not look to another realm outside of Heaven’s Kingdom realm.

That is the order from the Kingdom, place your undivided attention on Jesus. He is giving out corrective training to those who will answer the call to arms through devoted service to Him.

Intercession Directive | Pepper Diehl

1. Give us eyes of the Spirit to rightly see discipline as corrective training and not punishment.

Hebrews 12:5-8 (TPT): And have you forgotten his encouraging words spoken to you as children? He said, “My child don’t underestimate the value of the discipline and training of the Lord God, or get depressed when he has to correct you. For the Lord’s training of your life is the evidence of his faithful love.” And when he draws you to himself, it proves you are his delightful child.

2. May we be quick to punish disobedience in ourselves by consistently choosing the discipline of a militantly trained thought life. Refusing to allow the enemy to interject our thoughts with poisonous accusations about God, ourselves, and one another (it poisons the entire body).

2 Corinthians 10:5 (TPT): We can demolish every deceptive fantasy that opposes God and break through every arrogant attitude that is raised up in defiance of the true knowledge of God. We capture, like prisoners of war, every thought and insist that it bow in obedience to the Anointed One.

3. Give us the wisdom to Do No Harm with the weapons of our spiritual giftedness. To AVOID FRIENDLY FIRE. To remember that we are armed and dangerous with dynamic weaponry (see 2 Cor. 10:6 TPT) not just against the enemy. But towards one another as well if we wield our weapons with untrained hands and undisciplined hearts.

4.Teach us how to effectively wield the Sword of God firstly on our own soulish nature, and cut deeply to the heart of every matter until we find life. Then to the soulish nature of each other so as to bring life to others of the Body of Christ as well.

5. Pray that EVERY weapon in our arsenal be true spiritual weapons of war without mixture. The right weapon for the right battle. Remembering that a dull sword rends the heart. But a sharpened sword leaves a clean cut (remember DO NO HARM).

6. Teach us CAMARADERIE: The essence of what binds military units together, providing a cohesiveness among the individual members, which allows the unit to function effectively as a collective unit (www.malmstrom.af.mil>News).

7. May we become true Apostolic Replicators of Sons and Daughters who have been spiritually conceived by Jesus Christ. Raised up by Spiritual Fathers and Mothers who “glory infuse” them with audacious, powerful identities right at the point of conception.

8. As the Bride of Christ let us quickly and willingly get on board for this Mass Corrective Training. So that we not only know how to wield our weapons but upkeep them as well. Keeping them cleaned and sharpened (not just for ourselves) to respond to any battle cry of the Lord for anyone at any time.

Hebrews 4:12 (NKJV): For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

9. Cause us to stay the course of experiencing the weightiness of the Sword of God in our own lives. So that we may fully appreciate the sometimes painful process of the weight of God’s Sword as it cuts away the holy from the profane in the lives of others too.

10. Help us to resist the temptation to look outside of Heaven’s Kingdom living inside us and inside our Kingdom Family. Let us be willing to hold ourselves and our comrades accountable to higher dimensions of glory. May we focus and fix our eyes on Jesus—where they belong.

Colossians 3:2-4 (TPT): Yes, feast on all the treasures of the heavenly realm and fill your thoughts with heavenly realities, and not with the distractions of the natural realm. Your crucifixion with Christ has severed the tie to this life, and now your true life is hidden away in God in Christ. And as Christ himself is seen for who he really is, who you really are will also be revealed, for you are now one with him in his glory!
